Cation exchange columns for separating group 1 cations (Li+, Na+, K+) and ammonium cations (NH4+).
- Unique selectivity of the ammonium cation.
- Non-standard elution order.
- High chemical and mechanical stability.
The non-standard procedure for elution of group 1 cations without the use of crown esters or any other specific modifiers allows us to analyze ammonium in samples with a high sodium content (1:2000).
The columns are filled with a spherical cation-exchange sorbent with a grain size of 5 μm based on a sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer.
The operating pH range is from 1 to 14.
Two standard sizes are available: 100x4.6 mm (for fast separation) and 150x4.6 mm (for the analysis of lithium cations and small amounts of ammonium against the background of high sodium content) in polymer cases (PEEK) with fittings 10-32. Size of column guard cartridge: 3x8 mm in a polymer case (PEEK).
