The EMCES 21 electromembrane suppressor is designed to increase the sensitivity of anion analysis by reducing the background electrical conductivity of the eluent during conductometric detection. The suppressor works with a carbonate, borate or alkaline eluent and can be used in conjunction with any ion chromatograph for anion analysis.
The principle of operation of the electromembrane suppressor consists in continuous removal of cations under the action of an electric field from the eluent flowing through a special slot electrodialysis module.
No chemical reagents are required to operate the suppressor. The EMCES 21 suppressor allows you to replace electrodialysis suppressors from other manufacturers.
