The conductometric detector is successfully used in both two-column and single-column versions of ion chromatography. For additional temperature stabilization, the eluate is thermostated at the cell entrance in a polymer capillary (0.25 mm ID) with a total dead volume (including the cell volume) not exceeding 70 µl, which allows you to use the tool for working with speakers with an internal diameter of 2 mm or more. The specialized design of the cell with stainless steel electrodes prevents gas formation, thereby reducing detector noise.
A MultiChrom software package has been developed to work with the device.
