Combined glass laboratory electrode ESLK-01.7 for measuring the pH value of aqueous solutions and other liquid media.
Combined glass laboratory electrode ESLK-01.7
The electrode is designed for measuring the pH value of aqueous solutions and other liquid media, complete with secondary transducers (pH meters and ionomers). Structurally, the electrode is a system consisting of a measuring electrode and a reference electrode and made in one housing. The electrode is a general-purpose sensing element (sensor) and is used in analytical laboratories of industrial enterprises, in agricultural, environmental, scientific and other laboratories.
PEI housing
The body of the ESLK-01.7 electrode is made of polyetherimide (PEI). The PEI enclosure is suitable for a wide range of applications and excels in field measurements due to its strength. The protection around the spherical membrane minimizes the risk of breakage due to accidental impact or falling of the electrode. PEI is a high-quality plastic that is resistant to many harsh chemicals.
Glass for general use
General purpose glass, as the name suggests, is a standard glass composition used for general purposes. The pH electrode with this glass has a resistance of 100 mOhm at 25 °C and is suitable for measuring the pH of samples at room temperature. ESLK-01.7 is suitable for measuring samples with temperatures from 0 to 40 °C.
BNC connector
ESLC-01.7 uses a BNC connection. This is a universal connection that allows you to use the electrode on any pH meter with the same type of connection.
Contents of delivery
The delivery package includes: ESLK-01.7 electrode (with bottle) , passport, certificate of verification.
Features of operation
The depth of immersion of the electrode in the solution during pH measurement should be at least 20 mm.
During the intervals between measurements, the electrode should be stored in a transport bottle (with 3.3 M potassium chloride solution) or in a saturated solution of potassium chloride.
It is not allowed to use the electrode in solutions containing fluoride ions and substances that form deposits and films on the surface of the electrode.
Storage and transportation rules
The electrode is transported in a package at an air temperature from minus 5 to plus 40°C and a relative humidity of not more than 95% (at 25°C).
The electrode is stored in warehouses in a package at a temperature of 5-40°C and 80% relative humidity (at 25°C).
Guarantee
The warranty period of operation of the electrode is 12 months from the moment of commissioning with an operating time not exceeding 1000 hours.

The upper limit of the linear range of the hydrogen characteristic is indicated for solutions with a sodium ion concentration not exceeding 0.1 mol / dm3 .
Temperature range of the analyzed medium from 0 to 40°C
The deviation of the hydrogen characteristic from linearity in the linear range is not more than ±0.2 pH units.
The steepness of the hydrogen characteristic in its linear part when released from production is at least 53 mV/pH in absolute value at a solution temperature of 20°C. The values of the same parameter after an operating time of 500 and 1000 hours are not less than 51 and 50 mV/pH, respectively.
The electrical resistance of the glass (measuring) electrode at a temperature of the analyzed medium of 20°C is not more than 100 Mω.
The electrical resistance of the internal reference electrode at a temperature of the analyzed medium of 20°C is not more than 20 kOhm.
Overall dimensions of the electrode: the diameter of the glass part is 6 mm, the length is 160 mm, the length of the connecting cable is 1000 ± 50 mm.
Weight of the electrode with the cable is not more than 55 g (without the bottle).
The electrode is a single-function non-recoverable product.
