Aquilon offers isocratic single-and double-head pumps in both metal (SS 316) and non-metal (PEEK) versions, designed for various eluent flow ranges.
Even on the most precise and modern machines, it is almost impossible to create absolutely identical parts of the pump assembly mechanics, so the flow ripple profile will differ from pump to pump. To minimize the level of residual ripples in each pump, an adaptive algorithm for reducing them is used, based on continuous monitoring of the pressure value and changing the angular speed of rotation of the stepper motor. This approach makes it possible to achieve minimal flow ripples even for single-plunger pumps with a passive damper.
All isocratic double-head pumps are structurally integrated with active eluent degassers.
