Low temperature evaporative light scattering detector model 80

In the composition of liquid chromatographs "Styer", produced by the Aquilon company, there is another model of the detector for measuring light scattering - model 80. The new model is controlled by the "Multichrome" software, and also has an analog output for connection to liquid chromatographic systems of other manufacturers.

The detector has a unique sensitivity for detecting sugars - up to 5 ng.

The unique design of the evaporation tube allows you to work at low temperatures with high-boiling solvents.

Two different nebulizers can be used to optimize detector performance at different HPLC flow rates.

Nebulizer Flow rate range Back pressure,
bar (with water)
HPLC nebulizer* 200 μl/min - 2.5 ml/min 4 (1 ml/min)
Combined chemical nebulizer 1.0 ml/min - 4.0 ml/min 4 (1 ml/min)

* Standard delivery

The detector requires a clean, filtered, oil-free (compressor must be oil-free) inert gas such as nitrogen or air to operate.
