The Stayer-A ion chromatograph is designed to analyze trace amounts of various inorganic and organic ions (including carboxylic acid anions) in extremely clean water environments, including process waters of thermal and nuclear power plants and the microelectronic industry.
The main defined ions and their detection limits
Ion type | Title | Range, mg / l |
Anions | Fluoride Chloride Nitrate Sulfate Phosphate |
from 0.0005 from 0.001 from 0.002 from 0.002 from 0.002 |
Cations | Sodium Ammonium Potassium Magnesium Calcium Strontium |
from 0.0001 from 0.0005 from 0.001 from 0.002 from 0.002 from 0.005 |
The table shows the lower limit of detection of major inorganic ions when using a loop concentration system.
Main Features
- Analysis of trace amounts of ions at the level of fractions of micrograms/l.
- Two independent liquid paths: concentration and separation.
- Ability to work with direct sample input or with a loop concentration system.
- Computer complex for collecting, processing and storing chromatographic data.
- High reliability and easy maintenance.
The choice of direct sample injection or loop concentration without interfering with the device's hydraulic lines (two injectors are used), as well as the separation/concentration module organizer isolated from external influences, provide protection against external contamination, which is especially important for analyzing trace amounts of ions.
